A single sheet of stainless steel with nothing to soak up juice, oil or colour. It takes heavy daily use without warping or denting, so one board outlasts the stack of plastic ones it replaces.
The surface is non porous, which is what gives it excellent resistance to mold and bacteria growth compared with a traditional wooden or plastic board.

The front edge folds down 1 cm, so the board hooks the lip of your counter instead of skating across it. Nothing to wedge under it, nothing to chase while you chop.
That same fold protects the countertop edge underneath, and the panel is finished for roughly 30% more surface hardness so it scratches less than plain sheet steel.

Raw chicken, garlic, beets, curry: none of it stays behind. Wipe it with a damp cloth or give it a quick rinse under the faucet and the surface is back to bare steel.
Hand washing is what we recommend, and it is dishwasher safe when you would rather not.

One sheet of steel, one folded edge. That is the entire design.

A non porous steel face, so juice, oil and colour sit on top instead of sinking in.

The folded front edge catches your countertop so the board does not slide while you work.

30 by 40 cm, 40 by 50 cm and 40 by 60 cm. Pick the one that fits your counter.

Carve a roast, slice vegetables, knead dough straight on it, then wipe it down.
Mostly the jobs a wooden board never really recovered from.
“Raw chicken night used to mean bleaching a plastic board. Now it is a rinse and I am done.”
Raw meat prep“I knead bread right on it. Cold surface, nothing sticks, scrapes clean in one pass.”
Baking and dough“Turmeric and beets stained every board I owned. This one does not hold colour at all.”
Heavy staining foodRinse it once, set it down with the folded edge over the front of your counter and let the lip catch.
Cut, carve or roll on it, then wipe it with a damp cloth. Dry it off and it goes back flat in a drawer or stands on its edge in a cupboard.

Use it for a week of real cooking. Raw meat, onions, the lot.

Here is what people want to know before they order.
The face is smooth rather than abrasive, which is gentler on an edge than a scored plastic board. It is still steel, so it is not as soft as wood. Most people keep a honing rod nearby and carry on as normal.
Yes, and that is normal. Knife marks appear on the surface with use and they do not affect how the board works or how it cleans. The finish is treated for roughly 30% more surface hardness so it takes fewer of them than plain sheet steel.
30 by 40 cm, roughly 11.8 by 15.8 inches, is the everyday size. 40 by 50 cm, roughly 15.8 by 19.7 inches, suits a bigger counter. 40 by 60 cm, roughly 15.8 by 23.6 inches, is the full prep station.
The front edge is folded down about 1 cm so it hooks the lip of the counter and holds position while you cut. On an island with no edge to catch, a damp cloth underneath does the same job.
A damp cloth or a quick rinse under the faucet takes care of most of it. Hand washing is what we recommend, and it is dishwasher safe when you would rather not.

Different cooks, same reason for switching. Nothing soaks into steel.
“Threw out three warped plastic boards the day this arrived. No regrets.”

Dwayne K. · OhioCustomer experience“Garlic and onion smell used to live in my old board. This one rinses and it is gone.”
Priya N. · New JerseyCustomer experience“I prep for a family of six every Sunday. Got the big one and it fits the whole job.”
Angela F. · GeorgiaCustomer experience“It picked up scratches in week one like they said it would. Cuts exactly the same.”
Russell T. · MichiganCustomer experience“Goes in the dishwasher, comes out bare steel. That is the whole reason I bought it.”
Cheryl A. · FloridaCustomer experienceSurface scratches are normal with use and do not affect how the board performs. Hand wash recommended. Size options are measured flat, and the folded lip adds about 1 cm of depth at the front edge.
